General information concerning your hunt and stay at Omambonde Tal

Omambonde Tal and the neighbouring hunting areas have made a pledge to hunt the numerous game ethically. To stress game as little as possible, hunting is only done by foot or from the hide, never from a vehicle.

Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by us, the owners of farm Omambonde Tal, and informed about the hunting methods and the hunt in general. You will also be shown the perfect shot for different kinds of game. Rifles will then be tested on our shooting range. After that, a game drive can be undertaken or the hunt can begin – at no extra costs.

We begin the day with a hearty breakfast of eggs from the farm hens, home-baked bread, homemade jams, followed by hunting until temperatures are too high. Now time can be spent relaxing, having a tasty lunch of game specialities and having a nap.

After coffee, the hunt continues, either on foot or on a hide.

The day concludes with a lovely light dinner, accompanied by South African wines, Namibian beer or other drinks of your choice. If time allows and you wish to, a sundowner can be arranged at various sundowner spots on the farm.

Short trips to the Waterberg, Museums at Grootfontein and Tsumeb can be arranged at extra cost.

It is very important to us, that you feel completely comfortable and at home. We want you to be able to let go during your stay and become one with nature and its wild, true beauty.

Most important for us: you should feel at home and be able to relax and enjoy our beautiful nature.

Accompanying persons can enjoy the pool or can undertake horseriding under competent supervision. They can also join the hunt or sit on a hide to watch birds and wildlife.
